How to read the forecast
The rating runs from very poor to good and sums up how the surf looks at that spot for the day. Surf height is the face of the breaking wave at the spot itself. Open-ocean swell height is a separate number. The swell rows show each swell train with its height, period and direction, and offshore wind means wind blowing from land toward the sea. The forecast updates 6 times a day from Copernicus Marine and ECMWF data, with tides from EOT20.
