Siargao surf spots
There are more breaks around General Luna than you can surf in a week. Here they are by level, the way we choose them for lessons.
Cloud 9 is not where you learn
Cloud 9 is Siargao's famous wave: a hollow right over a shallow reef. In July 2025 the local surf community announced a simple rule: no beginner lessons at Cloud 9, and no board rentals to beginners without an instructor.
We take beginners to softer breaks such as Jacking Horse and Daku. You learn faster there anyway, because the wave is forgiving and the lineup is less crowded.
Your coach picks the lesson spot on the day, based on your level, the tide and the wind.
